The fasted Life.
Hello friends, it’s another refreshing time on faith series, how have you been? And your faith life? I believe great, so let’s get into the word!
*Hebrews 13: 9 says “Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace, not with meats,which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.*
At the beginning of the year, many people go on retreats, how about the middle and end of the year, and I will have you know that we do not just go on retreat in order to bring our requests before God, but its also time for us to refresh ourselves in God who is our source and renew our strength.
Some people are weary, tired and frustrated, because they are running on empty, running on their own strength, they can’t even hold on to their faith anymore.
The fasted life, is that at every step of the way, you stop to reflect, to retreat and seek more strength from God, see our spiritual lives is constantly under attack especially our faith, the more reason you must always stay connected to your source.
Are you even disciplined in little things like food, drinks, meat, are you disciplined in your daily life? Because when you are able to exercise discipline over little things then you have gained mastery over your flesh and ready for more growth and faith in the spiritual.
Its time to retreat, its time to seek God for more strength, its time to reconnect with your source!
In our August declarations, number 9 we declared that we have mortified the deeds of the flesh because we are a people of the spirit, we are not like those whose God is their belly, Glory to God in the highest😃
Living the fasted life does not only include fasting from food, it may include fasting from certain things that takes away your attention from God, like fasting from your phone, TV, going out, social media, and taking out time to sit in Gods presence. This is wat the fasted life entails.
Say with me, we have received strength, we have been helped, God is my source, I have all I need in Christ, I am self controlled, I am disciplined in all things, I live the fasted life always.
We always have victory in Christ, because we are connected to our source, so stay connected always. Until next week Wednesday keep living by faith 👸🏼
